Let's say they're talking about the Mayan pyramids and so Pink Floyd has NO relation to Egypt.

In all fairness has he even posted a single topic to do with Egypt yet? I dont remember one but I could be wrong. Why would we all expect him to show even a passing interest in the subject?

The Dark side of the Moon being called 'Pyramids' is a misnomer anyway.

The name refers to the triangular pieces of glass on the album sleeve that can be seen splitting up white light into the seven colours of the rainbow.

The objects are not pyramids- they are triangular prisms, and as a result the name is not only an error, but also has absolutely nothing to do with Egypt or the Pyramids!

As we all agree- Pink Floyd seems to have no understanding of Ancient Egypt whatsoever, and indeed the only post he appears to have made on the subject is a feeble reference to a poster that was released with the vinyl version of Dark Side of the Moon.
I propose that some sort of impossibly hard test be conducted to see whether Pink_Floyd does have any knowledge at all of Egypt. This board is, after all, supposedly for Egyptology Enthusiasts, and Pink_Floyd has shown no evidence of enthusiasm towards the subject that I can detect.
