Hi I am currently in my a third year of an archaeology degree. I have to write a 2000 word answer to one of the following questions.


1. What evidence do we have for the development of mummification up to the end of the Third Dynasty? Support your answer with examples

or

2. Are ancient Egyptian tombs and their contents a true reflection of the daily life of the tomb owner?

If anybody could point me in the direction of any papers/books relating to either of these questions it would be greatly appreciated. If anybody could give a basic summary of what these questions are getting at that would also be very helpful. I have very little knowledge of ancient Egypt and have ended up on this module by chance.
