Hello, I am an Egyptologist from Albany NY that has been to Egypt once and am hoping to head back into the fold next year. I am a fan of the Ankhefenmut mummy here in the Institute. I noticed that there was a person who had posted that they lived near here and that had made an effort on the translation of the hieroglyphs on the coffin. I have done the same and would like to compare notes.

Very neat! Welcome to this forum BTW! I must say it's a bit quiet at the moment but that's normal considering the holidays! What sparked your interest in Ankhefenmut mummy? Was it her overall look? What did your translations say? I wish i knew hieroglyphics. I am so jealous. I guess i gotta start sometime! Anyway, i wanted to wish you a warm welcome here at KTO!
