q10 - Was this temple constructed in the Late/Ptolemaic period? - no

This is not supposed to be a private competiton between me and Neb ma'at Re

I will be on holiday and so probably will not have access to the net till about the 19th

Q11. Was the temple built during the reign of Ramses II?

No it was not from there. Also to be pedantic I think all there is at Gerf Hussein now is lake.
The temple there I am thinking of is Ramesses II as far as I know.

It is not Ramesses II and I was surprised someone said Gerf as as far as I know the temple there is Ramesses II

I believe ithe Temple at Gerf Hussein was constructed by (under the orders of ) Setau, the Viceroy of Kush during the reign of Ramses II. The temple was however dedicated to Ramses II , as well as Ptah and Ptah-Tetenan. I appologise since a previous question asked if the temple in question was constructed during the reign of Ramses II.

Ok well lets see. By deducing that the temple was not contructed during the Ptolemaic or late period, it was not constructed by Ramses II (or his Viceroy of Kush) my next guess asks the question:

Was the temple in question the Temple at Amada which was constructed by Thutmosis III and added to by Amenhotep II, Thutmosis IV, and later Seti I?

Right temple - now what part of it?

Owing to dodgy internet connection at home I usualy log on at work so I only have 1 reference book with me - 'Guide to Nubian monuments on Lake Nasser' by Jocelyn Gohary. I like it - it gives plans with accounts like '1st row Tuthmosis III ofters temple to Amun; marks temple area with Sefkhet-abu;before Amun-Re;embraced by Amun-Re' and names the gods who appear which helps with the obscure ones.
Ramesses II does get in to the temple with 2 hieratic graphiti & some small scenes added by his viceroys. Unfortunatly it does not go into enough detail to say what the graphiti are.
