I would like more information on Mut. She's one of the few goddesses left out of this book I bought called Ancient Egypt. It was 9.98 at Barnes&Nobles. I now love the Bargain Section.

And was Mut worshiped in Nubia? I remember reading this Eyewitness book a few years ago and it had all these sculptures and pottery of Mut on it. She had butterfly wings.

If you choose to make a response such as "oh please" could you please also include why you are responding as such? Perhaps there IS a resean beyond spamming that you would make such a remark and we would love to hear. No, that is not the point... all of us have many different interests. The point is that this particular website deals solely with Ancient Egypt. Each area of this forum is dedicated to a certain area of Ancient Egypt. If you would like to talk about other interests or even just bullsh*t in general use the coffee lounge area. You will find that when in a certain area, you will learn an amazing amount of information and that even if you have off the wall ideas (such as me) people are willing to go with it, give their input, etc. You will also find that if you just want to talk, the coffee lounge is a great place to be.... take a glance through all the topics, they have a great range of interests and almost every one has been answered. No one here is out to get you or to even make you feel unwelcome, they just wish that you would stay on subject and if you want to just chat, keep it where appropriate.. the coffee lounge. I also think that people find it a bit annoying when out of the blue you will copy and paste something in about a God. If the point of that is to let people know that you are trying to learn about Ancient Egypt, perhaps start a thread in the Gods forum, put in what you know and ask for additional information. Like I said in another post, I THOUGHT I knew a great deal about AE until I came here. I now know that I don't and am often asking questions. I am not concerned about my title, only about what I can learn. I really hope that you DO want to learn and quit being so concerned about what you are called.... if you give it half a chance instead of being "the annoying bitch" you will be known as "that gal who REALLY wants to know".
