So what is Bess??

It's a software originally designed to keep children away from webpages that contain illegal material (porn, racism, hacking, etc.) but also blocks all the pages that are on a free server. Their webpage is at www.bess.net and I'm thinking about writing them an e-mail but I guess it'll be like talking to a brick wall.
Free website providers are responsible for the material placed on their sites, and they don't want to get caught, so usually when I sign up at them, there is a long list of "Terms and conditions" I have to agree and if I break any of the rules they delete my page. Pages on free servers are often more decent than pages on paid servers (where the owner pays so s/he can put up porn, racism, anything). That's why I feel this Bess thing unfair. I could really kick the *** of the person who invented it.
