Hey!! Im starting to look out for Universities that have a huge variety of courses in the departments of archaeology/egyptology. Canada is out on my list, but I am really hoping to go to England. I've done some research on many universities there, and have come up with Durham, and Cambridge as two that I am interested in. Does any one know of a university in the States, or England that offers this? (One that really sticks out, or one that you know of from experience). If you could give me any ideas, that would be awsume!!

hey, thanks for the post! I have looked into Oxford too, but since it's one of the 'HUGE' universities, each person who is wanting to apply there must go through this whole interview thing.

I am not ABSOLUTELY sure, but I think that the Oriental Institute of Chicago, IL, has Egyptological courses, but I'm not sure how many.

UCL is for University College London, which is based in Gower Street in the West End. It's a nice lloking place, alas I went to Uni elsewhere so couldn't say if it's any good or not.
