Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any Hymns to Sekhmet?
Some limitations: - Must have Hieroglyphs and translation. - Must be Pre-Ptolemaic. - Must not be from the book of the dead (but any other source is fine e.g. Hymns from the walls of temples).
I find it particularly hard to find this sort of thing on the internet as you run in to all sorts of sites. Is there a good site or database where you can find Hymns to the various Egyptian gods that are also scholarly and well-referenced? I've tried JSTOR and the Oriental Institute but it's hard to find actual Hymns there, mostly it seems to be articles on the mythology etc.
Any help would be really really appreciated.
