Has anyone given the thought, no matter how far fetched..That these people might not have been human? Possibly a hybrid of sorts? Hence the long skulls, the spindly arms, the royaltyt, the godlike stature, the intelligence etc..?

Well, they think the Amarna period had such realistic art because Nefertiti and Akhenaten wanted to be immortalized, not "lumped in" with all the other pharoahs who had artists stylize them to a point of unrecognizability. This might be a reason for the elongated heads (maybe off-topic, but were those possibly due to inbreeding? Is there evidence for any diseases in the Egyptian royalty that were caused by inbreeding?).
