The Ancient Egyptians saw the constellation Taurus as the Apis Bull, a form of Osiris. It may also have been associated with the goddess Hathor, depicted with Menkaure in statues found at Giza. It seems much more plausible to me than the Orion's Belt theory of Robert Bauval. Just a theory, of course, but I maintain a very plausible one. Sadly, this forum won't allow me to post images or url links. Anyway, if interested just go to YouTube and search "Great Pyramid solution". You'll see a video with a white background titled "Giza Pyramids Configuration" 11th video down the list. That's the one.
The part about the "Bull of Heaven" in the Pyramid Texts, mentioned in the first part of the video, may not be relative to the constellation Taurus but the constellation is known to have been significant to the Egyptians as the Apis Bull or possibly Hathor, as I mentioned earlier. The other stars shown in the image after the Pyramid Text part are significant in that they are the stars Sirius, brightest in the sky and heralder of the Nile inundation, and the star Betelgeuse in Orion, a bright star between Sirius and Taurus.
