Post subject: | Atenism |
Are you actually following the religion of Atenism? I have been Atenist for several years now, I found the way to Atenism after discovering that it is the Truth, and after becoming disillusioned with Judaism as there's just too much corruption going on. I am also interested in the Amarna period and believe Pharaoh Akhenaten possessed a lot of wisdom, and the courage to stand up for the truth - especially against the corrupt priesthood. He also introduced the concept of positivity, ie turning negative situations or emotions into positive ones, which is very central to Atenism. This is quite unique as most other religions use fear to control their followers. This belief in positivity is what attracted me most to Atenism. May Aten bless |
