Here's some information on Nephthys :

A number of myths suggest that Osiris and Nephthys were the parents of Anubis. In some myths Nephthys dressed up as her sister Isis (who she does look remarkably similar to) and seduced Osiris. This fits Anubis rather well as Nephthys is associated with decay and death, and it made it easier for Osiris to replace Anubis as god of the dead when the theologies of the ennead and the ogdoad merged.

Here is something interesting that some of you may not know about our lady Nephthys.

Nephthys and Isis are thought to be related to the pylons gates at temples. In the Book of Gates, the two sisters are depicted in the solar barque holding up Khepri ( the representation of the rising sun). Nephthys and Isis are thought to be the two pylon towers to which the sun rises bewteen everyday, thus holding up the rising sun.
