I just came across this and wanted to share- but I also incorporated a little poll for fun. These sites are completely ridiculous and had me laughing for about ten minutes. I only hope that the author intended them as a joke. . .

What do you think?

For the poll- use these to help make your mind up- I've taken some of the most well known scenes from Ani's and Hunefer's:

Hmmm, can you explain the humour you see from these sites?

Just because another translates glphs differently from your self and from what you have been taught, doesn't mean it should be taken lately.

Anyhoot thanx for sharing. I see others have been working on a similar subject as myself. That being linking the Mayan pyramids to Ancient Egypt's pyramids. In which if you were to take the positions of both cultures pyramids and a line them on paper as the pyramids are on land. They make a "MAN" within a box "a square" meaning earth. Freaky!!
To bad I don't have excess in drawing it out for you to show, oh well!

Hey be careful, a lot of people out there actually believe in that stuff and turn it into a psudo-religion. So what if the Ancient Egyptians didn't interpret the glyphs like that. Let the people interpret it however they want to. Science is never always right and can never prove anything definatively, and if people want to believe that it's their business.

Plus I'm personally a philosophy/humanities geek and it bothers me when all you left hemisphere dominant, gun-ho "science" advocates ridicule others for their creativity or for thinking outside of the box. I like looking for the symbolism and stuff; I once thoroughly confused a friend trying to explain to her the complex philosophies/allusions in Frank Herbert's Dune. I really don't care if it's legitamate or not, their thought process and what led to their (erroneous) conclusions is what I'm interested in.

PS. If any of you want to help me prove that science is not always right, my Calc AB class is trying to find an example that disproves this theorem... :D

The absolute value of the intergral of f(x) on the interval [a,b] is less than or equal to the intergral of the absolute value of f(x) on the interval [a,b].

Any smart person who wants to help us win a Nobel prize for math feel free! :D

Personally it's not my aim to offend anybody and really I hope I didn't, if so I apologyse....

BUT...

if somebody wants forcely to state that things that are already clear have to be interpretate in such a way that throw into disorder original egyptian believes just to prove their crazyness, well then I have the same right to state that things are not as they want them to be.

...again, I hope with this I didn't offend anybody....

more, people have to be aware of what they choose: if they want to believe to strange stories, they are of course free to do that, but they have also to be aware of what they are talking about. I do wish to fight ignorance and I start from myself first!...I don't really think it is correct (fair) to put people who don't know anything about Ancient Egyptians, in front of such an argument without telling them that the method adopted IS NOT SCIENTIFIC AT ALL, when all these stuffs are already clear and there is no mystery about its interpretation, but those made by these unhonest persons who insist in telling foolishness about AE matters.

It may be foolish but it's interesting to see how they could come up with such things. Either that or maybe I'm a lot geekier than I thought... lol...

Plus if you tell them their wrong, they'll just give you more mystic jargon so it's better to just leave them be. lol! :D

ehm...what does "geekier" means??? ...maybe you'll think I'm stupid, but sometimes I don't understand words....

you are right to say to leave them, but others without the right background can read the same s.... and gravely misunderstand and I cannot stand this.....

There is no need to "think outside the box" because there's nothing outside the box to think about.

No lifesource other than our own created the monuments and carved the hieroglyphs. These people are on the right track unlike those who oppose it, who are possibly elementary dropouts.

Calm down. . . Calm down. This is only a debate.

The only thing that I find amusing is the argument that these mystic interpretations are 'more scientific and feasable' than what exists now. If somebody feels unsatisfied with their knowledge they should read more books- not make up ridiculous jargon to fill the gaps in their inferior knowledge.
I am up for new theories and ideas, providing they are backed up and there are significant anomolies and occurences to prove that they are the case. Throwing hundreds of years of research out the window is silly, and I think that it is offensive to say that the Egyptians were ruled by aliens. They had Gods for goodness sakes! Gods are meant to be powerful and non-human.
